  • Practical service and prayer meeting at 9:30am in Oklahoma City (Meeting Hall) and 10:00am in Norman (Big House)

  1. The corporate prayer meeting will be in Norman. Refreshments will be served at 7pm.
  2. We will have a graduation reception on May 10th at 4pm at the Big House to celebrate with those finishing high school and college. If you are interested in helping to prepare for this time, contact Lesley Petrone. All the saints are invited to come and to linger for the college meeting.  The College Age Meeting WILL BEGIN promptly 6:30pm (the reception and dinner will END at 6:15pm).
  3. This Lord's day we will have our JOINT Lord's Table and love feast. Please bring enough food for your family + 1/2.
  4. The Memorial Day Conference will be in Dallas, Texas. There is limited space at the hotel (offering a discounted rate): Hyatt Regency Dallas Hotel:  Special group rate of $75.00/per night plus tax (15%) for single or double occupancy. For room reservations, please call 214-651-1234 and request the group rate for Living Stream Ministry. Reservations must be made by May 10, 2008 in order to get this reduced rate. Check-in is 3:00 PM or earlier if rooms are available and check-out is 2:00 PM on Monday, May 26.

    We will have a simulcast here at the meeting hall for the saints that aren't able to attend, but don't want to miss the Lord's current speaking to the churches.

    **NEW YEAR'S CHANGES**

    Burden--To help develop a scheduled God-man living with consistent DAILY  LIFE practices.
    • Morning revival (at least 15 minutes)
    • Daily reading the Bible (at least 1 chapter of the OT and 1 chapter of the NT)
    • Reading of the ministry (2 messages per week--1/3 message Monday-Saturday)

    IF ANY SAINTS HAVE FALLEN BEHIND IN THE READING, JUST JUMP BACK IN WHERE WE ARE. DON'T BE DISCOURAGED. DON'T TRY TO GO BACK TO COVER THE PAST MESSAGES.  JUST BEGIN TO ENJOY THE PRESENT SUPPLY.

    A SECRET TO SUCCESS WITH THESE VITAL PRACTICES IS TO HAVE ACCOUNTABILITY WITH A PARTNER. TURN YOUR SHEET (ATTACHED TO THIS EMAIL) IN WEEKLY TO YOUR PARTNER. PRAY AND CONSIDER TOGETHER CONCERNING HOW TO IMPROVE IN CERTAIN TROUBLE AREAS.

    • Afternoon prayer (at least 5 minutes)
    • Weekly prayer with partner (Choose your own partner)
    • Weekly attendance in the meetings of the church (Prophesying, Lord's table, prayer) and a home meeting
    • Passing out a gospel tract per day

    Please deplete your store of gospel tracts from your home before using the ones at the meeting hall. Also, please only take one bundle of 7 tracts for each new week. You may also pass out BFA cards or door hangers.

  1. The radio station 90.5 F.M. in Edmond (which is receivable in
    south Oklahoma City) is playing the Life-Study radio program daily at 11:00am, 8:00pm and 10:30pm. Tune in, turn to your spirit and enjoy.  Share the riches with your family, friends, neighbors, classmates and others by telling them.
  1. There is a need for some to serve 1/month with the children at the fellowship hall on Lord's Day morning. Newer saints will serve on a team with those who have had some experience. If you are interested, call Don Dewald or James Kennedy.
  1. If your family would like to get into a "ROTATION" on Lord's Day to have New Ones and Young Ones ASSIGNED to your home please contact Jessica Swagerty or email a response back in, telling us HOW OFTEN and any other ideas or suggestions about this.
